Thank you for your thoughts and good wishes. I have been told that I have to have an injection at the hospital every day for 7 consecutive days excluding weekends. That is an ongoing treatment, so I know what I'm doing for 7 days per month. I also have to take a tablet on those days at 6 o'clock in the morning so that it has time to work if they need blood samples at the appointment. Not the best of arrangements but it beats the alternative!

My exact same comment regarding the side effects of last year's radiotherapy.

I always wonder on the people who criticize charities for various reasons whether they have actually volunteered or put work into any charities? I am on the Board of two charitable organizations over here being the Secretary of one and I can tell you it's not an easy job but I passionately believe in what we deliver to our communities, at least I put my money and personal effort to where my mouth is!!!!
