A bit of something for everyone today at Oldmeldrum, here's a small selection of the exhibits that caught my eye.






This is one of my brothers restorations from around 10 or 15 years ago, looking immaculate and still attending the shows with it's new owner.


And this is not one of his restorations, but still attractive if you like that sort of thing!

Apologies if I've mentioned before but your Imgur hosted TM avatar (blue Mog) no longer displays. I also fell fowl of this situation when Imgur were threatened with a non-compliance fine. Their response was to switch off UK access to hosted images. The workaround I use is temporarily switching on my browsers VPN which does allow access. Any required image can then be downloaded and reposted on another hosting site such as tm-img you are now using.

Thanks Richard, yes, I noticed my avatar pic no longer shows but haven't got round to sorting it out. I only ever view TM from my phone and I had so many photos on it I had my son to build a server so I can clean things up a bit!
I should have access to all my old photos soon so I might get the picture showing again. I tried switching on my VPN but imgur still refuses me access 🤷‍♂️.

Yes forgot to mention Gordon the VPN address must be outside the UK for reasons mentioned above. I use the Opera browser which has VPN built in as an option. This allows access to sites via a US IP address such that I could see your blue Morgan avatar earlier today. I was about to download it and display in this post allowing you to copy and upload elsewhere, but it appears you have now removed avatar altogether.

I selected a different photo, resized it to 100x100 pixels in jpeg and failed miserably trying to set it as my new avatar I'm afraid.
Thanks for your efforts Richard, but you are dealing with someone who can only bash wood for a living 😂

So , the entire world should be seeing my avatar now? The mistake I was making was to try and upload the image rather than just link the thumbnail code . Silly me!🤪

Glad its sorted Gordon . BTW you do not need to reduce image file size if just providing a link, the storage being external to the TM server. I can see the reduction in image quality compared with your previous Imgur hosted avatar.
