It is with a great deal of sadness that I must advise Talk Morgan of the passing of John Stephens earlier today after a long illness borne with characteristic good humour and fortitude.
John, or JBS as he was known to Speedmog competitors, was a primarily Norcemog member but had many Morgan friends worldwide.
Driving his 1992 4/4, he took the Speedmog championship several times.
Such was Johns infectious enthusiasm for competition, even when he was extremely poorly as a result of his treatment, he took time to pass on his wisdom to those attending the MSCC Sprint Taster day at Curborough.
Condolences to John's wife Lynda and children, Charles and Elizabeth.
I'll advise funeral arrangements as soon as they are to hand.
