Hi All. I try to get my keys working on my Aero8 S4 from 2008.They never worked. The easiest way I think is to get new cylinders with keys.Does anybody know where the doorhandles come from;manufacturer or make and model of the donor car.All info is welcome.

Door handleHi Rudolf. I guess you've already tried injecting lubricant into the cylinders. I'm afraid I don't know where the handles originally come from, but these ones here look the same. They do come as a set which you don't need, but could be worth a call or email to SC to see what they can do regarding replacement lock cylinders.

Thanks David.Indeed they look good. However I forgot the obvious way.I contacted Melvyn Rutter and he can get a set of handles including keys from the factory for £100.So I will bet on this direction first.I have taken one side apart and tried to make the lock turning again. But I think I do not have the correct key, since it never worked.I always relied on my remote lock. But since that broke I cannot lock my car anymore.

That sounds a good option, Melvyn to the rescue again.
