Has anyone used a solution to create an inner lining to the front and rear wheel arches to prevent stone chips from marking the arches as after taking all four wheels off to refurbish the wheel hubs I noticed that the wings and rear arches don't have any protection inside and I think this could become a problem in the future .....

Ventureshield protection film or similar would do it..but the surface would have to be totally clean first or it would not stick..

Neil, iv also looked at my car bare wood visible, what are Morgan doing here, is there someone out there can educate me in where Morgan are thinking here, i see these cars for sale for high prices and very few miles, so they obviously stay under cover 99% of there life, i really bought my MAX to use it, but will i come out of a shop one day and find a pile of sawdust in the car park.

Neil there is a product we sell (Gravitex/Stonechip), available in a Gun applicator can or Aerosol, but when applying this you must remember not to block up any drain holes or areas, otherwise rot will occur if water is trapped in any seams mad2

Thanks Dean and speedmog,I shall take a closer look at these products,I carnt understand why mmc have not given this type of problem some attention as having owned astons,Porsches etc over the years this sort of thing wouldn't be an issue,at least I don't get bored of looking at the car, still a piece of Art.

The timber is soaked in a preservative bath for some time...there's no need to worry about it.

The old boy had probably been deafened by your exhaust!

NAC.......the factory now underseals the cars using Dinitrol.

I think it use to be an option. The cars are shipped out to a company in the Malvern area who do the actual undersealing.

What ever they spray in the arches did not stop a stone punch a dent inside-out on one of my rear wheel arches. £600 worth of damage! Sounded like someone shot the car!LOL
