Just like to say a big thank you to all those who helped make the two Morgan Meet Ups such a success. It's been fabulous to meet up with so many people from the forum and a great opportunity to 'Talk Morgan' face to face.

I'll put my thinking cap on, and see if I can come up with some ideas for next year (although Shuttleworth and Gaydon are always worth a repeat visit)

If you fancy organising something yourself, it's really easy if you stick to the KISS principle - just decide that you are going to visit 'A' on day 'B' and then invite people to join you. Simple as that!

Just to add to Phil's post and to encourage people to get involved, it doesn't have to be car related - especially since most of the time a successful meet consists of people sitting around scoffing bacon rolls and coffee, or tea and cake whilst nattering non-stop to each other.

Some of the most enjoyable meets I've been on in the past have been based around National Trust properties, for example.

WE....... the users of TM.... are missing out by not having meet ups...............🤷🏻‍♂️......!!!!!!!!!🥳🥳🥳🫵🏼

There are, I'm sure, some shy retiring types out there in TM land who might not want to come along, but in general, I think the TM-ers are a pretty friendly, sociable and bearded lot.😂

It's always going to be tricky finding a location that suits the needs of such a geographically diverse group, but I guess somewhere central-ish, as with Gaydon, gives the majority a fair chance of attending................ (I accept that it doesn't take in to account Aberdeenshire).........but with notice, hopefully we could get a good turn out.....

Malvern leaps to mind as an obvious base for a meet...... also lots of accomodation for those who want to make a weekend of it......🥳

I think there was preliminary talk of a TM 20th anniversary gathering......... but that might be too late now.........🤷🏻‍♂️

All I would add is that weekends are generally better for travelling. I really don't enjoy weekday congestion. Plus the fact that workers are more likely to attend.

It was on my mind to add 'weekends might work better'.... but I forgot...🤦🏻‍♂️
It would certainly help the workers..... and making a weekend away of it might tempt more folk...🥳

The factory is a great location, and we've had some enjoyable sessions in the cafe over the years.
Plus we use Cottage on the Wood as a base to walk the hills.
