Oh yes. I remember reading the trial transcript document that was posted. Very conplex case, although you could see the writing on the wall.

The linked story is pre-appeal (ie old). See Classic and Sportscar news and Wilmots legal for the post appeal status. My reading is she bought the car with borrowed money expecting to make more, not because she fancied a Bentley.

I don't think he is whiter than white, but neither is he as black as the initial judgement suggested.

My reading is she bought the car with borrowed money expecting to make more, not because she fancied a Bentley. Just having a similar conversation at work regarding buying cars for profit. Cars are built ot be driven, not for profit, not to sit in cottenwool etc etc  So perhaps there was justice handed out here by 'The Car's God'.

If a Buyer wants to negotiate for knowledge about “its performance during its active racing lifetime” (if any) then he must stipulate for it.". So, as usual, buyer beware.
