There is good and bad in every proffesion so I dont take a negative approach . I have come across some Sh*t in my life in all walks but we can not tar everyone with the same brush . You can not put an old head on young shoulders and there is no substitute for being world wise but this comes with age .
PS I dont like lawyers.

Who is going to race a multi-million car in anger? I suspect we haven't seen many real Ferrari 250GTO on the track for years. If you own such a jewel the money for an exact copy (perhaps £200K) is well spent if you want to go racing - and who could blame you?

Nick Mason- his 250 GTO is widely held to worth £25 million and is raced regularly at Goodwood revival. It is also one of the most original. The Wangs (of the computer firm) in America race a variety of 250 GT cars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb1esLHgrVEJohn

I'm guessing only, but when a car reaches that value, most of the cost is in the provenance; what it is and what it was. As such to crash a £25m car (using Nick Mason example above - who was on the Morgan stand in Geneva BTW) won't cost anything like that to repair, even if you had to fabricate new parts.
Cheers

No idea what they currently do, but years ago when Bentleys increased in value considerably, my friends car was insured for theft for the full amount, but less than half that for rebuilding costs.
You can't build provenance nor do you need to try.

But a "bitsa" has no provenance

And in theory, a bitsa is only worth the sum of the bits prices plus a premium for assembly...
But if you invent provenance, all bets are off

The latest from the Daily Telegraph, the Appeal is upheld.
