Top speed is dependant on gearing as well as power, although the 3.7 has a longer back axle ratio than out going Roadster until we know what the box ratios are it doesn't tell us much. Speeds quoted by MMC are fairly approximate, quoted figures often just to give a nice step up from one model to the next, ie 116mph 4/4, 120mph +4, 140mph for the Roadster. Whether you ever get a chance to put it to the test is another matter.............

My (very !!!  early..) order has been delayed to week 19/2012 in Nov.Dec. 2011 already and my dealer just told me, that there´s a further delay of currently another 3 weeks at least  First new Roadster is supposed to be on display at Geneva Motorshow next week.... 
It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast.  2015 Roadster 3.7

The morganwire says that the first batch of Roadsters are in trim. My dealer says they are still waiting for the engines  Anyone got any other versions? Ian

...i share the same fate as shiremog...  Still awaiting a valid build date (having ordered way back in May 20 11... )

It´s a little frustrating indeed...  But having seen the first photographs of the new Roadster (especially the prototype-style dashboard....  ) i´m ready to wait ´til MorganDesign had SOME nights to think about a Morgan-worthy solution...  For the meanwhile i "froze" my activities to sell my beloved grey +4...

I've just heard that my new Roadster is in the paint shop! WHOOPEE. The Morganwire report was spot on!
