I'm thinking about changing my current exhaust, I’d like it to make a little more noise. At present I have standard side exits, I’ve re-read a couple of old threads on aftermarket units, but couldn’t find anything on the Morgan double side exit, as fitted to the SuperSports.

I know some have had this conversion, but to S4’s, mines an S3, any thoughts/opinions would be appreciated – Aeroman, Boshly, Shooter listening

Cheers
Matt

I did change the box on the side exits on my S3 Matt, but if I was going to change now I would definitely go for the Aero SS twin-pipes. I'm sure that Boshers will be along shortly as he has had the twin-pipe conversion done at the factory on his S4.

Cheers
Brian

P.S. Hope to see you as usual on the way to LMC! woohoo

QED Matt. I guess you need to speak to the Works about getting them fitted in time for this year's trip! innocent

I might have to follow another member on here and buy a second Aero so I can have this conversion done, as I think it would be a capital offence to molest the Aeromax in this way, but I do love the sound!

Is the SS exhaust a complete new system or just the end pipes compared to the S3/S4 ?

Where would I get an S1 converted to side pipes and how much are they likely to charge?

Thanks
Andrew

My S1 has a sports exhaust but it still doesn't make enough noise.

Thinking about getting a system made

I love the Aero but one thing is it's a little quite for a V8.

Same thing when I had a Griffith , took it down to Furnhurst TVR and for a modification to the baffles with no exhaust change it sounded great.

I was quoted 2-3k for an S1 sidepipe conversion by the factory. Very few S1s (though all GTNs) had them. I believe it's not so simple due to limited space given The narrower body shape.

That was some time ago - there are unlikely to be many off the shelf bits around to do this for an S1 these days too..
