I have the 9-stud hood on my 2011 Plus 4 Sport. I'm looking for a small rain cover to keep water out when parking outside overnight in case of rain. Ideally it would function something like this: 1. Use existing mount points from the 9-stud hood, or use points that do not allow for rubbing against the paintwork too much if there is a lot of wind. 2. Waterproof (does not need to be breathable. 3. Covers all the way down to the doors on the sides, in case the side windows are not mounted, yet still does not let water trickle down on the leather if the windows are there (the tonneau allows this unless you fold the sides up, not very elegant.) These are the ones I have found so far, some of these might be the same item: Librands: Storm Cover Brands Hatch: Storm Cover Morgan: Storm Cover Phoenix design: Storm Cover Melvyn Rutter: Storm Cover If anyone has experience with these or other models, it would be great to hear from you!

I have the Morgan Storm cover and it works well. The only time I experienced a problem was when parked close to a beach under very windy conditions. Sand came in between the elastic bands and the paintwork resulting in very fine scratches. These scratches could be removed with some rubbing compound.
Under ´normal´windy and rainy conditions the Storm cover does the job.

I use the Phoenix Cockpit cover....its survived some gales and torrential rain in Scotland last year and let no rain through. Easy to pack away as well as its not as bulky as the full length ones. I've had no problems with the shock cords rubbing the paintwork.

I also have one of John Taylor's (Phoenix Design) covers.

I too am a long term John Taylor fan and his cover has retained a bone-dry interior through gale, blizzard and thunder-storm, so I recommend whole-heartedly

I currently have a Melvyn Rutter version. Although it works fine, if I were to replace it I'd almost certainly get one from John Taylor.

I have the Morgan storm cover & used it to very good effect in the alps last summer, in particular during a very heavy downpour in Chamonix. Very quick & easy to put on, keeps the cockpit completely dry & packs away neatly into it's little bag.
