Thanks Jay for the honest appraisal, probably better that I don't test drive one myself, so far I've remained convinced that a 3W is a non- starter but an hour or two at the wheel could prove expensive, just look what happened when Mark Leddington lent me the keys to a Roadster.......... laugh

Excellent write-up. Loved the photos. May have been image grabs but came out really well on my screen. Well done. Loved the kit and the whole look. Seems like a perfect way to spend time while your car is being serviced! Wish we had a Morgan dealer!
Cheers.

Glad you enjoyed the write up! I've knocked together a quick video which I've put on YouTube...hopefully it will work! Apologies for the sound quality....my GoPro camera mounts seem to generate noise although I guess all the vibrations from that big V Twin don't exactly help! You can see how much it vibrates at a standstill when cold!!

For those that are interested, the route is from The Talbot at Knightwick on the A44 from Worcester, up onto the downs near Bromyard, down to lovely old Ledbury and up over the Malverns by British Camp and stopping in Malvern Wells....all good traditional Morgan factory stamping ground!

It does look fun to drive but I have to say the transmission noise is overpowering and not a good advertisement for Morgan.

Other than that Jay thanks for a great video and an interesting review.

I've been resisting it for a while, but I can see I'm going to have to capitulate and buy a go pro camera. Thanks for an excellent review Jays, and an entertaining film clip.

Thanks Peter. In Morgans defence I would say that the sound quality of the video leaves a lot to be desired.....my co-pilot certainly would think so; he's a Film and TV sound recordist! I'm still waiting for his comments!!

It's a shame the built in mike doesn't pick up the glorious beat of the exhaust except at tickover so all you have is a mix of transmission noise, wind noise and an annoying rattle from the camera mount. Of course it wasn't helped by mounting the camera between the roll bars directly over the Quaife Box!

My friend who is also a pilot (lovely French 60's Jodel) commented on how like flying a vintage plane at low level it all felt and the staccato beat of the exhaust at times felt like you were being persued by a machine gun firing fighter! Noisy gears or not, it was all HUGE fun and a very different experience and hats off to Morgan for having the guts to produce this.
