What are the correct tyre sizes for the S1 cos I'm getting confused.
I've seen elsewhere on this forum stating 225/45/18 front and rear yet in the brochure it states 225/40 front and 245/40 rear.
What is the right fitment?

That's the same as mine.
I wonder whether the factory were thinking 245/40 for the rears when they went to press?
Anyhow...I've ordered 225 and 245 R888 for hairy days on spare wheels

I have the 255/35 on my rears and they do help with traction off the line and out of corners. Then again with 888 ( provided they are warmed) it might be very interesting. Would be keen to hear your feedback on public road usage as well if you use them ?

Sorry peeps. I have to fess up to an error. I am running 245/40/18Y97 on the rear. In my (poor) defence I was travelling and so unable to check. I looked on my tyre invoices and found the 255 which must have been from my Porker of the time. http://s690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/alistairmutch/RX55/?action=view¤t=DSC04427.jpg
