Reminds me of the Sydney workshop of the guy who used to do all the work on Brough motorcycles in that area. Only difference was that he had an oil soaked dirt floor. There were small parts imbedded in the dirt that I think his father had dropped nearly 80 years before!

Mine might be too modern a version of vintage -- I wanted it to feel a little bit like 1962. I don't have a Morgan, so forgive the visit from a German car.

I'm a fan of garages. So here are some pictures of what I did with a two-car in Los Angeles. I think it's a good example of what can be done with a modest budget -- and a lot of time. I did all of it myself, from the sliding-door cabinets up top to the ceramic tile down below. My shoulders still remember digging out the hole for the hydraulic lift. Pretty much everything in the place is second-hand, repurposed or home-made.

The car is a 1972 Porsche 911, fitted up (Frankenstein-style) with components from a few different eras of the model. Lots of information on it here.

Jack, that is a well planned garage - lovely! Every square inch has its purpose. The wall hung tables are a very good idea that creates a lot of flexibility, will probably copy that...and the colour of the "furnitures" is also nice. Looks like one of this garages you enter on friday afternoon....and leave for work om monday morning ().

Walls and roof almost finished...next step: wood strips around windows/doors. What about a hardly noticable logo on one wall...but maybe the Morgan script logo will create a more vintage look

Nice offer, seen your work, looks great...but what about murals...abroad?
