I was playing around with the car tonight looking for a way to display any stored trouble codes. You can do this on my everyday car and on my bike.

If you press in and hold the function switch on the end of the indicator switch while turning on the ignition, a new field comes up which you can change from 00 to 09.

Unfortunately I have no idea what it was set to before I messed with it.

I have no idea what it is for. Does anyone know for sure or have any ideas?

It changes the brightness of the dials when you ave the lights on.

Like you I'd been pressing the button, but noticed the dash was brighter next time I had the lights on and put 2 and 2 together.

I found the illunination function, but this is another function.
If you hold in the button and then switch on the ignition it goes into a system warning screen. If you press the function switch it goes over three numeric fields. Mine appear to all be set to zero. I don't know what this is for.

The illumination dim only works on my speedo not on the rev counter !!
