Hello from Germany,

I´ll visit the factory on Friday next week (8th of June, the 09.30am guided tour).
My father and I are planning to do the journey to the UK in the MOG, it will be the first longer trip with the car.

We´ll arrive in Malvern Thursday in the evening. Friday afternoon we plan to discover the Malvern Hills (including a little detour to Stoke Lacy) and Saturday we´ll visit the northern Cotswolds area.
Back to Dover and home on Sunday.

I visited the factory last year for the first time (and missed my new car for only two or three days.... doh ) and it was fantastic!
So we´re extremly looking forward being again in Malvern and the factory! joy

Keep fingers crossed for dry weather!

Anybody from TM at the factory on that day?

englandwave

Kind regards,

George

P.S.: I followed the "ferry crossing / ground clearance" - thread quite intersted.... Hopefully everything will be ok for the ferry (two rather "sturdy" guys and a large suitcase + some smaller luggage....) thinking

Have a good trip 007, I was last at the factory in late March- it was absolutely buzzing with activity, with the new 3 wheelers filling up the works.
If your journey into The Cotswolds takes you as far south as Bourton-on-the-Water, I recommend you visit The Cotswolds Motor Museum- a real voyage back in time.

Thank you for your wishes, Mark and Gerry!

Bourton-on-the-Water is probably on the list and I have already visited the website of the museum.
Perhaps we´ll make a stop there.

Would be glad to see you there, Jay. Surly some interesting details to check on each others car. shades

I was at the factory two weeks ago and as we pulled in through the factory gates who should walk across the road ?

"Charles Morgan" he gave us a smile and a wave I guess some would say it was a bit Hollywood but I think it's great that he bothered. Can you imagine the CEO of Aston Martin doing the same rofl safe journey

PS If you like good beer and good food I can recommend "The Nags Head" in Malvern.

Not sure what is on at Prescott but if the hill is open it is worth a visit & especialy the Bugatti Museuem.
And of course you might meet Graham & RTA

I hope you have a great time but the weather looks not so good for Sunday on.

P.S. Anyway as 007 you surely know the Cheltenham area quite well or?

The Malvern hill are great but around Brecon is better, wish the best from Belgium

Check before you try Heart of England though....John doesn't open it all week. Holdens is a nice drive, the A44 from Worcester is a good road for Morgans and a couple of nice pubs just off it ( The Talbot at Knightwick and if you don't mind a rough track which is ok with care, The Let and Let Live on Brinstey Common ) and then you can drive on to Stoke Lacy from Bromyard and then back to Malvern via Ledbury.
