I have heard from MK and he WILL make a dash.... However he has yet to see the new Roadster so there is some developmental work to do. That’s good news.

What's your run-in routine Ian?
Is there much less leg room in the 3.7 Roadster compared to the 3.0 or +4.
I like to start off gently & gradually use bursts of more & more power ( just running it in, Officer!) over a couple of thousand miles or so, avoiding labouring and longer periods at higher revs. It's not so much leg room as foot room! You need to use either your toe or the side of your foot to operate the clutch otherwise your foot hits the trim covering the steering column. Later on, I'll see if the trim can be, er, trimmed? Also, the loud pedal is very low compared with the brake, so you need to lift your foot rather than just moving across. That all sound rather negative, but it's not too bad once you've got used to it. Ian

Interesting.... Thanks.
I've got quite big feet and I found the latest Plus 8 (the red factory demonstrator) quite tricky with my hooves. I was pressing several pedals simultaneously and was a little anxious about stopping. If the Roadster is tighter it must be extremely tricky.
Are gay shoes the answer?! I can't see me wearing dinky driving shoes though.
Is there a solution to lack of room on the pedals?

I've never sat in a +8, so can't compare with the Roadster. I've got small feet, so I'd suggest you give the Roadster a try, when one's available. There's nothing that can be done about sideways clearance, that's fixed by the side of the body & the transmission tunnel. It may be possible to increase the toe clearance, which is what I'll look at when I get chance. Ian

Well, the new +8 is available with only two pedals (ZF 6sp Auto). So you now have a choice between wearing gay shoes or driving an automatic. Personally I'd take the shoes, in pink, please...

I haven't quite figured how I will use a Morgan, I think high days and holidays only - dry ones. Morgans are best driven; the more miles you do the more you will enjoy it. If it's wet keep the top down, drive a bit faster and keep an umbrella to use at traffic lights. Good luck with it!!!
