Hi Cat302, welcome to the forum. I too will be interested is the responses to this issue. What I have done as an interim solution was to, using a template, cut a shape of rubber, to fit inside the steering column cowl and glued it along the edge.
I only did the top half.

I used rubber strip that is used at the bottom of up and over garage doors, as it was about the right depth and thick enough to hold its shape.
I covers the gap but not the most elegant of solutions.

It is ugly isn't it. I had mine covered in leather but ther is still that ugly gap. I rather wish I had waited to find something neater before covering it with leather.

I drove a couple of Morgans today and was marvelling at the finish in this area. Reminded me of badly fitted plastic guttering.

Does the MK cowl cover this area?

Have a look at Allon Whites website...he does a leather covered replacement with a face to cover the gap.

Clearly, I've got my priorities wrong as I prefer to look out of the windscreen while driving!

That looks like the best solution to me Jay. However given that mine is already covered in leather I might just try to make a face plate to fasten over the opening behind the wheel.
