The tonneau is, I assume, an extra rather than standard equipment? It comes as standard with the mohair easyup hood ( well, it did with mine...) Ian

Made total sense..... Thanks.
Easy up sounds the way to go. I'm viewing the hood as an 'emergency get you home' device in any event.
It sounds, from my noodling in these parts, that the hoods shouldn't be left up when the car is garaged.... Strain on windscreen frame maybe?
I had heard that the car should be garaged with the hood up, so that it is kept in tension and doesn't shrink.

That's what they tell you to do at the factory. Particularly when the hood is new it is better to leave it garaged with the hood up. It only takes a couple of minutes once you get used to it.

I concur; when I had my old "Easy-up" hood replaced by the factory last October, Mark advised me to keep the hood up when the car is garaged. Bud __________ 2003 - 4/4

Ok, good advice. Thanks. Did I mention I ordered a Morgan today? A new 3.7 Roadster in sand with distressed tan, full bumpers, spots, luggage rack, walnut dash..... So I shall be a first time owner later this year.
