New shiny rocker cover fitted so underbonnet smarten up begun.(thank you ebay). EBC green stuff disc pad have made a marked improvement on pedal feel and braking. Thanks for all the advice, to someone new to Morgans, great chat room.

I haven't used the larger jet either, and there doesn't seem to be any hesitation etc. I rather like the new improved soundtrack.
Did you do anything with the exhaust manifold heat shielding? - I noticed that the HT leads sit directly above the hole where the hot air feed used to be and seems to direct hot air onto the leads, I wondered if it might be worth blanking this off somehow or ducting the heat away from the leads

Any thoughts?

With regard to the heat shield/collector on the exhaust manifold I removed this as I could see that it served no useful purpose anymore. This gave more air space around the manifold and removed the hotbits from near the wires etc. I have left the inlet in the front nearside inner wing clear as this will allow a flow of air over the exhaust manifold area. From previous experience getting air in is not as big a problem as getting the hot air out. So far, after 500 or so miles all seems ok.

Hi Keith
I am pleased to know your mod is still running well as I have just followed your approach. I used a 15,15 T and continued the copper pipe theme over & down into the crank breather filter. Hoping to try it out over this weekend
