The Scottish highl;ands are pretty gobsmacking - we have some fantastic roads we don't tell people about :-)

...maybe it boils down to the characteristics of the place:

-hills
-sunshine (hopefully)
-twisty roads

In no particular order?

Agree about Malven. Spent time visiting family friends when I was kid there. That's where I first learnt of Morgans, from them.

Give me a smooth road, add a few nice twists and turns, a few hills and...............a Morgan love

The essential ingredient is the Mog woohoo

cheers Richard......your 4 seater looks terrific......won't get into a discussion re: W.A. v Vic. laugh2

Take care!

It was, after the recent rains.
I was out, so it's now half empty, spread over the patio and into plant beds that didn't need it... frown2

I've driven a few. But there are lots I've missed out on. Potentially there may be a small (Mog) group up that way in 2013, so I'd appreciate any advice on roads. Pass of Cattle is on the cards, but more input would be great... smile

It's on the list Neil - no excuse really - just not got that far (yet)....tempted to do parts of the Aus tour next year - easiest part for me is to ship the car to Vic....

Without a doubt - for my money - La Belle France (rural, that is). Having just spent a couple of weeks driving up from Spain on wonderful, well-surfaced, scenic (and often deserted) roads, it gets my vote.

Mind you - the South Hams of Devon comes close - if you pick your time (ie not a sunny Sunday afternoon in July: overtaking is rarely an option banghead)
