Scenic Car Tours have just advertised their tour to a number of historic places. The trip includes Dresden and Berlin. Looking at their standard itinerary, there are a few very long driving days. Speaking to Kieran air MogFest, he invited me to propose a modified itinerary. Scenic have confirmed that my suggestion is practical and I now need to raise at least another 4 cars to make the trip happen as a Morgan only tour.

My itinerary:
Early to mid June departure (definitely home by 24th June).

1 Hull Rotterdam (or alternate)
2 Arnhem (70 miles)
3 Somewhere near the dams (130 miles)
4 Nordhausen (144 miles)
5 Dresden via Colditz (165 miles)
6 Dresden ( 0 miles)
7 Berlin via Stalag Luft III ( 235 miles)
8 Berlin (0 miles)
9 Near Wolfsburg (160 miles)
10 Munster (175 miles)
11 Rotterdam (160 miles)
12 Hull -> home

For the standard holiday, here are the details.

Please DM me if you are interested - plus give me an email address and your permission to pass contact details over to Scenic Car Tours.

You could also call into the Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre, south of Lincoln, on the way to the ferry at Hull. We have a real 1944 C-47A Dakota where you can sit in the pilots seat or on genuine 1940's Para seats, you won't get that at Arnhem! We have an extensive Airborne display including a 1/3 scale Horsa and a rare Welbike with CLE container. It was a WW2 Bomber Command airfield, so plenty of Lancaster stuff as well. https://www.metheringhamairfield.co.uk
