I was wondering who from this illustrious online village might be attending the Goodwood Revival this year?

First time for Me (as it's a bit down the road from here!) .... have forum members met up during weekend? (Or, having read what gets posted on here, do they stay well away from each other?😆)

K

Ps ....just checked and it's 634 miles each way by the direct route (however, we're hoping to do it on A and B roads as much as possible ... we'll see how reality sets in over the course of the trip though 🙂)

Just in the door ... 215 miles today up from Melrose in the Borders ... day plagued by heavy showers and some Polar-Plume thing that added nippiness to the mix so a hood-up day (had plenty of open-top miles in the last 11 days) .... 1503 miles clicked up on the odometer as we stopped (Home-Goodwood-Factory-Home.).. decent run ... never missed a beat loaded with camping gear and luggage for two weeks. Mrs Image decided it needed a commemorative picture! 😆

PS ... only thing was a hazard warning switch that disintegrated inside .. gave odd and ever-changing faults with the indicators over a period of days as more and more of it floated about inside that had me scratching my head ... finally diagnosed and 'bush-fixed' in the Hotel car-park in Malvern ... fix worked fine all the way home (glad I stuck my multimeter under the seat now 🙂)

Well, we're here! .... 747 miles so far for the way down .... the weather for the run in this morning was positively biblical .... to the point I considered re-crafting the ash frame into an Ark!! (will still be iffy tomorrow early on but steadily improving over the weekend.)

Mrs Image much relieved that we hit a window in the downpour that enabled us to get the tent (somewhat shakily!) up, so we're wind and weather tight and comfy without being soaked to the skin.

Short relax then head into the site for some scran! 🙂

In my humble opinion; Goodwood Revival and Members Meeting should represent more than just winning?

There have been other threads with pics from Goodwood .... but you can never have enough pictures of interesting cars. ..... will start with some from the 'punter's' classic car-park ... will post them as collages to save on space ... if you want to see anything bigger just point it out and I'll post that individual.pic ... starting with some of the Morgans there.
