...in the grand scheme of things, it would take an F1 driver to notice any difference on the front end. Spot on, imho, and could be said for many similar developments of cars. At the risk of thread drift, in my younger years I used to convince myself that the small incremental gains that manufacturers made, as they evolved (marketed) individual model lines, made a big difference to the way the car drove. Now I look back and think that the wiser money would have been spent on driver tuition rather than upgrading to the latest model.

There are parts of Cheltenham that could do with similar rules Not just Cheltenham, they should introduce it nationwide, many side/back streets ( as in Japan ) are narrow and emergency vehicles can't get down them easily with on street parking on both sides of road.

I was always a bit sceptical about the claims that the heavier V8 made the Roadster a lighter car to drive, and a good few years ago, also tried to find out what the difference in weight was. Like Heinz I could not find an exact weight. In the end I came to the conclusion that, in the grand scheme of things, it would take an F1 driver to notice any difference on the front end.

The same thing happened to us Le mans 2012 it was like a scene from Allo Allo, he never said Good Maawning he just pointed to the rear of the four seater and said boot boot.I got out of the car and explained that the rather large wheel hanging off the back was attatched to the bodywork with no boot. Not to be outdone he the made some hand waving and pointed to the void behind the seats,at this point I shrugged my shoulders and decided not to open the rear cover up He leaned over the rear stuck his hand down the gap pulled it out rather quickly having just rifled around the bag that held the grease gun, what a result. It's these little things just make your day in a Morgan. Em

The 2005 rare wide-bodied 5-door hatchback Roadster on Bonhams finished at £22,250. Wow that just shows you the market at the moment Plus another £2K for the 7% plus the Vat on the 7% makes it just under £24,200 as a final sale price A few years ago that would be an absolute steal for a Roadster, now maybe in this new post pandemic, ULEZ, will I be able to burn petrol, all cars are dermot world we live in, it might be about right. Who knows! Just got to drive and enjoy them while we can chaps!
