Has anyone experienced this problem? On the Plus Six Pinnacle, the new one peice wing mirrors from the Midsummer are fitted, as so on the new Supersport too I believe? But at over 80mph (On a track) the wing mirrors fold down as the spring on them is not strong enough. You have to stop and pull them back up!!
On complaining to Morgan, their answer was "You shouldnt be doing that speed" even though the quoted top speed is 166mph

I have the same thing on my Supersport. It seems to be a free option for optimising aerodynamics at higher speeds. On my car, the mirrors fold in at 140 km/h. At 180 km/h, they knock rhythmically against the sidescreen. It's probably my guardian angel trying to tell me that's enough.
My helpful dealer says they are working on a solution...

I have solved the problem of the folding mirrors on my Pus Six Pinnacle, flushed out all the grease from the internals using break cleaner and then filled with two part epoxy. Have tested to 115mph, not on public roads I hasten to add and works well. Still able to adjust mirrors at the head.
