Has anyone experienced this problem? On the Plus Six Pinnacle, the new one peice wing mirrors from the Midsummer are fitted, as so on the new Supersport too I believe? But at over 80mph (On a track) the wing mirrors fold down as the spring on them is not strong enough. You have to stop and pull them back up!!
On complaining to Morgan, their answer was "You shouldnt be doing that speed" even though the quoted top speed is 166mph

Not an issue on my MY23 Plus Six, but that has the previous generation of wing mirror base.

I would be tempted to emphasise to MMC that the car might be driven in locations (e.g. Germany) where such speeds are legal; this is not just a track issue.

And of course it does make you wonder what happened when MMC themselves drove the prototypes at over 80 mph. I guess since 166 mph is claimed, then somebody must have got at least one example up to that speed. Perhaps they were going downwind.

I understood they all do it.
They look ugly to me as well. I would replace them.

Agreed, I'd ask MMC if they were not intending to sell into Europe, France limit in the dry 81mph, Germany also 81, unless raised in the de-restricted areas where 100mph is common in BMW's & Audi's

Worth escalating up MMC’s hierarchy for a sensible response.
