Ok. The site is now back up and I was able to log-in with no problems.
The version is now 4.3.1. There have been some bugs fixed and there are some small improvements.
I don't think that there was anything that could have been responsible for the problem reported above. Certainly there is no virus, malware or hacking involved. In any case, if it reassures anyone, all the program files have been overwritten with the update.
In the case of a problem such as this I have found that it is sometimes necessary to go into the browser settings and delete cookies, cache, and saved pages. Some browsers, such as Firefox, will allow you to eliminate the cookies and cache of a single web site.
When this occurs it is more a problem of the browser being used than the web site.
It should be noted that the cookies used by tm-img.com are only essential cookies that relate to the user's log-in status etc. No third party, analytical, or advertising cookies are used.
