I remembered my second question after my previous brush with Mr Chianti !!!

The window on my passenger side sidescreen is stuck in the 'closed' position with no movement whatsover.

Tried PTFE spray blah, blah, blah before having a good look into both the bottom and top slots.

The top of the screen appears to have dug into the slot that is created by the soft plastic stuff, becoming embedded.

Anybody else had this issue? I'd have a go at repairing this if I knew how the sidescreen came apart!

Maybe one for Dave W? (I've had your book for about 7 yrs btw - it's been very useful... just not on this sidescreen issue! )

Next time you ping the window out have a look at the four corners, if it's a really sharp 90, try easing with a small radius, that way it helps guide the end of the perspex to slide, rather than dig into the soft channel liner
