Hi again and Happy New Year,

I'm still working my way through my little list on the Plus Six I bought last month. I would welcome further advice please.

With the hood up, the driver's side is a relatively draught and noise free. However, the passenger side is noisy. In her 1st trip, my wife found it very draughty from the top of the sidescreen where it meets the hood. Investigating on that side, I have a gap between the top of the sidescreen and the hood. It seems the sealing flap of the hood (the area above the fixed side window) is too far outside the cabin to rest against the outer top of the sidescreen. I can see daylight there from inside the cabin and can easily get my fingers between the top of the sidescreen and the hood. This isn't the case on the driver's side.

I don't think there is any adjustment in the sidescreen available. Ideally, if that could angle outwards by 3/4", it would then nicely snug up to the hood flap. But that would change the fit at the A-post and there is a just sufficient fit along that front seam of the sidescreen to A-post. I don't want to mess that up. Possibly, looking at the top corner of the sidescreen and A-post fit, there is room for the sidescreen to sit higher on the door, by about 1/4", before it gets too close to the A-post capping. Not sure how I could raise the sidescreen, nor whether that will harm the fit of the sidescreen to the rest of the door. But I doubt lifting it would improve the gap to the hood.

So, I'm currently thinking any adjustments will need to be to the hood. Perhaps, my hood might be a little too wide at the top?

Has anyone come across similar and found a way to adjust it?

Another little niggle is the sliding windows on both sidescreens. After a few minutes driving, they seem to open very slightly, needing to be closed shut. Only 1/4", but it introduces noise/draught. I'd like to fix it. Again, any suggestions please?

The first is the D seal added to the front of the soft top frame, above the factory seal:



Next the new seal is on the inside of the rear edge of the sidescreen:


Next photo is the rear of the door below the sidescreen, showing seals on the bottom fabric area of the sidescreen and the door panel. There was already a flat closed cell foam seal by the door catch. I don't know if that's standard, or added by Krazy Horse:


Finally, the seals on the front area of the door and on the sidescreen:


The driver's side wasn't as bad. It has some of the same seals on the rear of the door, only one on the front and nothing needed on the hood frame.

The water collects in the inside corner of the screen on the driver’s side before dripping onto my leg but I can’t see where it’s getting in. I’ve since discovered how to open a new thread and received a couple of kind responses, both suggesting applying silicone. I’ve also come across an earlier thread with photos showing where to apply the silicone so I’m pleased that I asked for guidance.
