More Morgan Geneva Motor Show 2014
A few photos that I took on Monday. Of particular interest are the photos of the new Plus 4 and its engine bay.
Apart from the obvious difference of the air intake system I noted a lot of attention had been given to general tidiness of wiring and a number of small detail improvements such as the small change in position of the water tube near the alternator so that it does not rub the mounting.
Regarding the new motor I noticed it has individual coils mounted on the spark plugs and a relocated dipstick that exits from the cam cover. Another small item on the new Plus 4 is the bonnet struts, and optional extra, that are mounted near the bonnet hinge when not in use.
Thanks to Nick for his hospitality.

Filling the washer bottle won't be as easy as it was.

I studied this Plus 4 on saturday and liked it very much. The bonnet catches are shifted forward. Did you also notice the sport seats with the adjustable lumbar support (by ballon)? Made some pics and will post them this week. Nice Morgan display, took lots of attention.

I thought that all models have had the forward catches in that position ever since the factory introduced the revised inner wheel arch panels for the 3.7 Roadster....or have they changed again?
I do like the idea of an inflatable lumbar support, I wonder if those can be retro fitted?

I got a DIY bladder with a squeeze bulb to inflate it from fleabay. Just pushes behind the leather seat front. Provides lumbar support which work just fine.

I thought that all models have had the forward catches in that position ever since the factory introduced the revised inner wheel arch panels for the 3.7 Roadster....or have they changed again? I didn't notice the forward catches but the left hand inner guard has an indent (or should that be out-dent?)at the level of the elbow in the rubber water hose near the alternator to give more clearance for the hose against the alternator bracket. The hose now clears it by a good centimetre.
