Hi all,
Only 3 weeks to go....
I am going to the 4/4 launch on the 23rd and hope to drive the new car away that day (or maybe the next) back to Edinburgh. It's been a 4 month wait. I've ordered it in from RPM who have been REALLY helpful throughout. RPM are fitting a cover, cam roof levers and wooden steering wheel after I get back.
Has anyone any ideas about fitting a radio/cd somewhere out of sight and using a remote?

just for info...it is coming with folding sports seats, the 2 holes low down on the back are for fitting a bracket to hold either of 2 racks on the back (one design can carry a spare wheel). The holes are being covered by a plate running along under the back end, this plate will require drilling to fit the rack.

Looks good but the rear ride height needs to be sorted, ruins the look of the car and still don't like those headrests. I should be at the launch too fingers crossed.

On my +4 the radio is fitted in a box below the blower box of the heater & above the tunnel.

I have a Sony CD radio that takes an input from an MP3 player & has a remote control.

I have velcroed the remote behind the dash top RHS.
It works well up to c 60mph.

Still can't work it out, maybe it's the spare wheel missing, but I've always liked the spare wheel hole covers as fitted on race cars, so it can't be that, just seems the back looks like one of the "Morgan lookalike" kits cars you see on ebay

I have just read your post. You mentioned attending the launch on the 23rd to pick up your car. I am heading to the launch to see the colour variants, is your green one part of the display.

Yes it is, the dealer (RPM) is taking my number plates etc with him to fit on the day......anyway, that's the plan.

Hopefully I will get to see it, I have already ordered in black with the build in November but my colour decision is wavering. My dealer in Belfast tells me there are, in additon to the black variant, going to be a blue and red one kicking about at the launch. If i see yours as well I should come away convinced of something.

I also note your point about the holes at the back, great news if you are planning long journies, spare wire wheels might be hard to come by in the Cairngorms.

I drove the Black 4/4 sport on Sunday. On the whole, it drives very nicely. I am not keen on the black. I expect the green will look OK as will the blue but the red with the saddle brown leather may be an acquired taste that I probably won't acquire.
