Morgan Oil Catch tank - The Practical Solution

The easiest to install and requires no drilling of fixing holes; easy to remove and empty; uncomplicated as you can see if there's oil collecting in any volume; cheap as it's free with screenwash and many other fluids; and light much lighter than fabricated aluminium.

Actually, it's one of the benefits of running a 1970s car - reduced demands for compliance!

+1 - Even in Aus!

I'd put one on EBay for at least GBP45.99 (+p&p) noting the handle and sustainability.

And if you want to connect your rocker cover to a catch tank, and have a Ford crossflow, a cap for a Vauxhall Viva of the same era is the same diameter, but only has a pipe output. So does the job nicely!

The crossflow one vents to atmosphere so isn't acceptable for racing. Mind you, I bought mine 20 years ago when such things were more common.

This is just what I need. I'm entering the speedmog this year and need a catch tank. Is it a five litre or 2. Is the hose just a "snug" fit, or is it tied in in some way?

Cheers
