Just love the dash. Would like to install the same chrome bezels on my VDO gauges. Do you have the part # available.

I made almost the same mods to my dash some time ago , using jag switches , I removed the masks from the lower part of the gauges and fitted Chrome bezels . Every supplier told me that the bezels would only fit smiths gauges and no VDO parts were available for the speedo and tach but with a little inventive fiddling you can see it was possible , I hope the picture below is accessible. If not it was posted 03/11/14 under revised dash in the picture gallery

Lovely Dave, very well done, both dashes have much similarities. So you have the original Jaguar rotary switch!?

Sorry @MGDave, but I don't have the numbers available. Matthias Kauffelt send them along with the new dash.
But I know that Hedwig Rodyns from BelMog in Lier, Belgium, certainly has them. But probably uncle Melvyn will have them too!

Ruut , yes all my switches are original Jaguar , I bought a used Jag dash off e bay then disassembled the switches to clean and lubricate them before I used them , they all work well with a lovely feel when operating them .

I won't be home until May but I will look for part numbers , I bought the bezels from MK and Holden before I decided which to use as I said both placed stated that they will not fit on VDO gauges but as you can see with a little effort they will .
Ruut where did the indicator stalks come from , do they fit onto the original switches or do you fit new complete assemblies ?

Hi Dave, I bought the indicator stalks at MorganPark Hamburg. Lutz Leberfinger also does the conversions for pre-1997 Morgans. You have to send the original Lucas assembly to him, after refurbishing he returns the new assembly.
