The NEC Classic Show
A great day out at the Classic Car Show at the NEC today, meeting up with some TMers.
I brought along a friend of mine, Eric, who thinks he's a bit of an expert (read anorak) on Morgans, to have a look at them and he was keen to meet up with DaveW.
I rarely take him out to these sort of events as he can get a bit excitable but apart from having to drag him past some of the girls on the Classic Mags stands, he sort of behaved himself.

It's a good job I changed my forum name
It could have lead to some confusion as I do look similar when I'm sometimes forced to wear my white jacket with all the straps

I just got back from the show - couldnt make Friday but spent 2 days on the stand .What a great display and it was great to meet so many old friends - One guy came up to me and asked me do you think a dealer would part ex a MGA - He was desperte to own a Morgan and wanted to know - what should I look out for ....hahaha after 2 more visits and hours of discussion he was off to his dealer and the factory for a tour - Great

On Friday I was standing gassing so long my knees went stiff.
Not so many wannabee owners this time, more current owners wanting to discuss general stuff.
It's a good show. Arguably better than Silverstone Classic?

Crikey Dave, there are tablets that help that sort of thing these days..no need to suffer!

Crikey Dave, there are tablets that help that sort of thing these days..no need to suffer! Swallow the Viagra more slowly then you won`t get stiff knees.
