Alfa 33

Finally saw one! 30 years ago, I lusted after one of these, never had enough money to buy one and they weren’t popular so they disappeared from memory.

Should have silver wheels though.

had a 75 and a coda tronca spider - the magic is pure fun to drive and the good feeling when you reach your destination without any trouble.

And of course all the tiny quirks that made it your car. Noone else was able to drive it that smoothly;)

My new daily is an Alfa Stelvio (500bhp grin2) and so far its the best car I have ever owned/rented. My business partner some 25 years ago had a 33 which he still insists was the best and worst car he ever owned smile

Couple of pics below and I just fitted a fabulous set of mats from Cocomats from USA.

I thought they were reasonable. I originally looked at them when I had my 3 wheeler, I know a few guys in the States have them fitted to theirs. The mats were the "luxury" option in the 50-60's for Mercedes and other marques. This company https://www.cocomats.com restarted the manufacturing of them in the late 90's. I had to create a template of the existing mats post them off and 2 weeks or so later they arrived. Certainly miles better than the mats the car came with. Apparently cocomats are the only car mats that do not show the dirt, I presume the dust drops through the coconut fibres?

I love the jazzy interior and 500hp!!!! That’s enough to rip the tread from the tyres laugh2

I’m impressed with those mats too, I’ll find a reason to get some I think.

Back to the 33, i had a quick squint at autotrader, one punter claims there are only 40 left in the UK.
