Must be nice up above Boddam ..... bit chilly in the early-year breeze but yet another flawless sunny dry day ..... I've forgotten the last day of bad weather ..... non stop sun and dry ....it's like the memories of childhood but happening right now ... hope you enjoyed your bike ride. Wife and I were out chainsawing willow out of the burn through the woods yesterday .....sunny, dry, just enough of a breeze down there to make physical work pleasant ....and no midges ..... haven't enjoyed a chore so much in ages ..... we've been blessed in this corner weather-wise

Yes, glorious weather, I’ve just had a BBQ despite not having charcoal or a BBQ. I drove over the rake and snapped the handle earlier, so I burned it along with any twigs I could find in a rusty old biscuit tin. Tasted adequate, wasn’t my worst effort. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/04/19/E6A22B6D-364B-4EFF-A967-A9F79155EB55.jpg)

That's the luxury version.... you could have speared a sausage on each of the rake tines and dispensed with that fancy grill grid ....posh out at Blootoon obviously! K

Not that posh, I’m thinking I’ll remount the rake on the other end of the broom, two tools in one so to speak , I should have chucked the rake head on the fire as well to burn out the remaining stump.

I always find it amazing to think back to our ancestors going about their daily lives which in a lot of aspects is not dissimilar to our lives today especially as we head backwards.
