Those hamlet adverts were brilliant, I especially liked the Carlos Fandango wheeled mini one.

We made the best of the afternoon today, went to the Cabrach for some scenery then Glenfiddich distillery for a coffee, nae drams, were both driving.

You've got him beat in the hair stakes Ewan ... but I reckon you could could rock that moustache and mutton-chops!! 🙂 ... been a nice day for a drive.

We made good use of our petroleum distillate today, chump change cost compared to the distillate for sale in the shop, one was £50k a bottle!
Aston F1 must run on the cheap stuff, they’ve been pretty slow this year😁

Driving by the Longside aerodrome, they offered me a blast down the runway in exchange for a shot at the wheel, that’s the first time I’ve kept it flat out through the grears, it’s too fast for this short runway, I think I’d need Heathrow!

Good fun and I got to see and hear it going quick, the downside of having one, you don’t get that .

Heathrow.... whereabouts is that in Scotland...? Surely you meant to type Macrihanish Ewan, it is long enough to land the space shuttle on... So plenty of room to get up to Vmax... (-:-:

I’ll need to put that on the list, although I must say, driving quickly I enjoy, driving flat out not so much , even when it’s safe.

Likewise, think it was Colin McRae who said something along the lines that straight roads are for fast cars, roads with bends were for fast drivers...? (-:

He also said ”if in doubt, flat out”, fine for him but rarely good advice for the likes of me😁
