When you're crossing the bridges by car or train you don't appreciate how they diverge as they go South ... the impression is that they're parallel


In the evening when the sun's low you can get a fine view of the new bridge from the paddock at Knockhill ... was well chuffed when I realised what it was I was looking at! 🙂

There’s many a day you can’t see the length of the track at knockhill, a bridge view isn’t guaranteed .

MM, I was only joking about my pilot, that was just the hoi poloi easy jet, besides, my jet’s away for a service so the pilot and the butler have the week off and the helicopter’s on my yacht in Monaco😂

Given the title of this thread and the general interest in traffic free Tarmac, I tripped over this vid on another forum which I thought you folks might enjoy watching...? Of course RED3 and no doubt others from the North East will have burned some fuel, if not some rubber too on these roads.... (-: ?

They're definitely making a comeback .... were a bit scarce for a while ... we have a couple live in our horse-paddock ... as you say, lovely to see them ... rabbits on the other hand!! .

Is that you back from your road-trip? .... was at the Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally yesterday decent turnout and the weather was kind.

We see a fair few down here if you know where to look, very encouraging but disappointing seeing the polis making so many arrests and seizing vehicles in Somerset for using them for sport. !!

Back to work, Keith, came home yesterday and went to the woods, sadly money wasn’t growing on my trees so no choice.

Not quite made in Scotland but an impressive new Scottish registered, family owned fishing boat and in the harbour a new small tug.

Those pelagics are good looking boats! ... in spite of being working boats, a lot of 'luxury' designers could take a leaf out of their book!🙂 ...

There seems a lot of 'oddness for oddness sake' designs about these days ... possibly to pander to the 'look at me!' narcisism of those currently with the funds to finance such things ... Mr Lipton would find them frightfully vulgar compared to his beauties!! 🙂

Here’s a magnificent example of my latest mushroom, the seem to appear almost overnight, the warm and wet weather does wonders for anything growing.
