The trads need frequent greasing of the king pins. Two axle stands, a garage jack, a rolling creeper, a grease gun and paper towels is what you need to ensure long life of your front end. I do this once a month.
A yearly change of engine oil is usually recommended, but I would think that with short milage a biannual engine service is enough. This is what the on-board computer on our BMW keeps telling us.
