Dont panic I brought my CVH from London up to the frozen North in the mid 90s and they had not fitted the sump on slack as a spaniel's ear . I stopped about half way for a rest and a chap said , You have oil all over mate " my reply was heard it before " no take a look " I phoned the garage ( gone now ) . Left the car at the Little Chef and jumped a taxi to the station and home via train and taxi . The car was picked up and corrected and my bills for the journey paid . Although I had travelled well over 100 mile the engine was ok , but I stick to Mobil 1 have done for many many years.
