thanks, i'll double-check any pipes but when i cold started it to get it back in the garage it looked like it was definitely coming from the gasket onto the pump.
so if so, and the pump needs to come off to replace the gasket, is it fairly straight forward or does it reguire removing all the cambelt covers etc? i can't quite see with my torch to figure it out!
