I don't think the width of the tyres have any real bearing on the kickback issues, it's more the geometry that MMC are forced to use because they have the rack behind and above the engine, instead of in front of it like the original Ace, and other V twin threewheelers.
Thanks Wiscos, I picked mine up in May, so a very early car, and I will be taking it back to the factory in the next few weeks for upgraded suspension - shocks and lwishbones, and hopefully a new rack too. I have already fitted a steering damper, with little positive affect, so any improvement will be more than welcome.
