Anyway, here goes... Jim Clark is probably the one for me. A gentleman driver, a true sportsman, and supremely talented behind the wheel of almost any car (F1, F2, saloons Lotus Cortina, etc.) A career tragically cut short in the F2 race at Hockenhiem (due to a Lotus failure?) before he could fulfil his destiny results wise.

Before my time so didn't get to see him, but he is always talked about by his peers as though he was on a different level to them, and he knew it apparently.
Stats... 72 GP starts, 33 poles, 28 fastest laps, 25 wins - amazing.
Senna, who I did get to see, was a cut above too, but we didn't get to see enough of what he could do..
