Chaps, whilst the Prescott idea is an excellent one, the issue is going to be timing.
Despite the distance being 'only' 5,000 miles, the roads we are travelling will make 200 miles seem like 800 miles and take the equivalent with respect to diving time. We have allowed 14 days (Sunday to Sunday) and we are already resigned to having to do a few VERY long days when we are up in Norway (and can rely once longer daylight hours). Even at this stage, the our idea to spend 8-10 hours behind the wheel per day may be looking far too optimistic.
As soon as we can publish the full itinerary (by day) we will. At that stage we'll understand whether Prescott is an option based on time scales.
