I'm on my third Skoda, currently a 2.0TDI L&K Estate. Excellent car! Wouldn't hesitate in buying another. I like the phrase "under the radar". BMW (and Audi) are just too damned obvious. Autohaus Aylesbury (are they still in business?) wrote to me some time ago "as a company director we assume you aspire to BMW...". Cheeky sods! I replied in truth "I am a bearded Guardian reader and a BMW would not sit easily with me; now please go away!", and they did.
