Not arguing! Trouble is a lot of 'restorers will replace a panel rather than work on it and have a slightly imperfect panel on view.
And a heck of a lot a amateurs plaster a panel with filler. You can buy a cheap panel beating set for under £20, and a bit of practice will enable one to remove most panel imperfections and retain the panel.
