More or less, just two screws at either edge. Depending on clearance required gauge and switch wires may need unplugging. I found it easier to also take off my steering wheel, but then I don't have an airbag so quite simple. If you do - be careful!

I've been able to do most I've needed without disconnecting anything and resting the dash against the steering wheel.
