Thanks guys. Any tips for taking off the dash - is it just a matter of unscrewing the screws and lifting it off or is there something else to worry about?
More or less, just two screws at either edge. Depending on clearance required gauge and switch wires may need unplugging. I found it easier to also take off my steering wheel, but then I don't have an airbag so quite simple. If you do - be careful!
I've been able to do most I've needed without disconnecting anything and resting the dash against the steering wheel.
