They are bonnet (hood in US) catches, but I don't know the source vehicle. I would expect you can order one via a dealer with an online parts service such as Melvyn Rutter. The factory won't supply parts direct to individuals.
Having read this thread I went out and checked & greased mine today! The "cups" do look pretty thin and fragile.
