AQM - A grit guard in the bucket sound a really good idea - didn't realise there was such a thing available. Now ordered one from Amazon.

I have always used a chammy leather on my cars, but maybe I blow drier might be a better bet for matt paint in the long run. Will investigate further.

Expensive kit is Swissvax - anyone use it on their Matt M3W?

Was concerned about the green tinge on the sponge. Being it is the first time I have washed the car it may be residue from the factory preparation. Next wash will be with yet another new sponge (50p each at B&Q, and also benefits from 3 for the price of 2 - there are worse ways to spend a whole £1). If more green tinge I will report to dealer at first service, but I would like to think that Morgan know what they're doing when it comes to paintwork!
