Hmmm...regarding the USA fix kit, I've got to admit that video of no deflection of the wheel with suspension compression does look pretty convincing compared to the ridiculous deflection seen with the stock setup in other videos posted on TM.
By the same token, this is an aftermarket solution, it's not clear that it is robust or safe. In fact the dealer disclaimer about needing a waiver signed if the install is done outside their shop doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
I will admit though...for the first time, I'm starting to get annoyed with MMC regarding this abject screw up. Pretty sad that some small aftermarket shop can come up with a fix, albeit of unproven quality, while the factory dithers...
Mark my words, this bump steer issue is gaining steam and traction, and may come back to bite the factory soon if they don't address it ASAP. Frankly, I don't think I'm going to accept delivery of my car unless I have written confirmation that I will receive whatever factory fix, free of charge, with delivery, when it becomes available...
